How does the custom illustration process work?

• Choose your preferred design through the shop

• Specify the number of portraits you will require

• Want extras for your friends and family? You only pay the design fee once—additional tea towels are £15 each

• After checkout please use the 'Upload’ page to supply your photos or illustrations.

• Your personalised design will take 2-3 weeks to create. You will be emailed a proof for approval before moving forward with production - please keep an eye on your spam folder just in case!

• Once approved, production will take an additional 1-2 weeks. You will be kept up-to-date every step of the way.

What kind of photos or illustrations should I upload?

Illustrated for You: Please provide clear, high-quality photographs for us to work from. While I do my best to capture the likeness of the images provided, please note that exact matches may not always be possible due to the artistic nature of my illustrations.

Illustrated by You: Whether it’s pencil, ink, watercolour or digital, all ranges of media are welcome! To achieve the best results in print, I recommend avoiding soft shading or very light details, as these can be difficult to reproduce. Scans are ideal, but well-lit photographs of your self-portraits without shadows are also acceptable.

Will I see a proof of my design before production?

It will take approximately 2-3 weeks to create your personalised design. You will be emailed a proof for approval before moving forward with production - please keep an eye on your spam folder just in case!

Can you match the design to my event stationery or theme?

I’m delighted to offer fully bespoke service tailored to your unique vision. Whether you have a specific idea, a theme, or existing artwork from event stationery that you'd like to adapt, I can bring your concept to life.

From custom borders to personal illustrations, I can work closely with you to ensure your tea towel design perfectly complements your celebration and reflects your personal style.
